• Beam is made of steel. A steel beam is superior to aluminum in suppressing and absorbing the forces created during cutting. It is internally ribbed to stiffen the assembly; this design minimizes the vibration while increasing accuracy and repeatability. 

• Dual pneumatic counter-balance cylinder to allow very fast and accurate Z-axis positioning.

• The machine is equipped with water-cooled electric spindles, and their advantages are low noise and slight temperature rise, which are ideal for a long time run.    

• The X and Y axis motion is via a rack and pinion drive, which is hardened for extremely long life and ground for a very good accuracy; The Z axis is driven by a hardened rolling antibacklash ball screw.

Q: What Is the Minimum and Maximum Distance Between Each Two Spindle Heads?

A: Equipped with 3.2kw water cooling spindles, the distance (center to center) between every two spindles would be 170mm and 375mm. (MIN-MAX) If the machine comes with 2.2kw water cooling spindles, the distance will be 140mm and 375mm. (MIN-MAX) It can be seen that the minimum spacing depends on the spindle model.

Q: What is the maximum movements on X,Y and Z axis?

A: The Max. movement for XYZ would be 700*3000*200mm.

Q: On Z axle on lowest position what is the distance between the head end and the table?

A: Without mounting a tool (cutter), the distance between the spindle end and the table top surface would be approximately 10 mm when the Z-axis is at the lowest position.

Q: What is the maximin diameter of the tool shank that can be put on the head?

A: It actually depends on the spindle motor. For a machine equipped with 3.2kw, 4.5kw, and 5.5kw spindles, it can hold a 16mm tool shank at most. If the machine comes with 6.0Kw or 7.5Kw spindles, they can hold tools with 20mm diameter shanks at maximum.
