• Damage Free Marking: Different from the 1064nm wavelength of a fiber laser, the ultraviolet laser has a 355nm wavelength. The absorption rate of UV laser is very high for a wide range of materials. This allows it to perform cold marking, that is, marking with minimal thermal stress. This marking attribute reduces the thermal damage to the material's surface to a negligible level, thus, achieving a corrosion-resistant mark. The property is especially true for highly reflective materials such as gold, silver, and copper, as well as heat-sensitive materials such as glass, rubber, ceramics, and plastics.

A: A UV laser engraver can mark almost all non-metal and metal materials. However, its extremely high absorption rate and 355nm wavelength make it a powerful tool for engraving on materials with high melting points, such as glass or metal, without requiring high power.
